All polo equipment including Boats, Paddles, PFDs, Decks and Helmets are provided, all you need is bathers including a rash top, towel, and a change of clothes. As the events are held in outdoor locations we recommend planning for all types of weather, we will play in rain, hail, or shine! (But not thunder and lightening).

No prior paddling skill is required, we regularly get people coming and trying out Canoe Polo as their first time in a boat. However if you have paddled or played Polo before you will be surprised how quickly you pick it up, or how fast it comes back to you!

New players can come and try the sport hassle free, however continued involvement in Canoe Polo will require a membership with Paddle Australia to cover insurance and liability (paid as an annual fee, or by signing up to a local club). This can be completed either online or at the event through a CPV organiser.
