Fairfield Canoe Club is a dynamic club on the banks of the Yarra River with a friendly club culture and rich history that spans 90 years. The club offers a successful four-week beginner course, regular training sessions, coaching, weekly e-News bulletin, access to a fleet of beginner and intermediate club-owned boats and allocated storage racks for private boats. 

Members can simply enjoy the use of club facilities or participate in training, events and social occasions such as BBQs, movie-fundraisers and our annual awards night. Club members have triumphed at state, national, international and Olympic levels of competition in the sports of canoeing and kayaking and hold records in the famous long-distance event the Murray River Marathon. Club members participate in marathon kayaking, sprint events, canoe polo, dragon boating and a huge range of related sports. 




Essendon Canoe Club Inc (ECC) is a friendly and well-equipped club catering to the needs of individual and family paddlers. Located in Woods St Ascot Vale, on the Maribyrnong River, the Essendon Canoe Club was established in 1925. Members enjoy all aspects of canoeing (and kayaking) including Touring, Polo, Marathon, Flatwater racing, and of course social!



MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY Mountaineering club

Melbourne University  Mountaineering Club is one of Australia's most accomplished outdoor sports clubs. Since 1944, The club has run a variety of outdoor recreational activities including Bushwalking, Skiing, Rock Climbing and Kayaking. MUMC runs a canoe polo program entering novice and C-Grade teams into the Melbourne Autumn and Winter series and also runs training and developmental sessions.




The Geelong Canoe Club provides for a diverse range of participants including, males, females, seniors, juniors and education groups. The club has experienced an increase in demand for external use of the facilities to cater for pressures from local schools, scout groups, special needs groups and other education, community and sporting groups. These groups are seen as integral to the Geelong Canoe Club and its future.

Access to facilities for training, boat storage, meetings and change facilities is available 7 days per week to cater for the diverse needs and flexibility required to support each group’s participation and involvement.



Latrobe University mountaineering CLUB

Latrobe University Mountaineering Club is the home of all outdoor adventure sports offered at the university. The club is devoted to enjoying the outdoors and our members have a desire for exploration and adventure.

LUMC runs Canoe Polo out of the LaTrobe Indoor Sports Centre at our Bundoora campus.



Monash University Outdoors CLUB

MUOC is one of Victoria’s biggest outdoors clubs. We cover a wide range of outdoors interests, there’s something for everyone! Membership is open to all members of the public, not just Monash Uni students. Canoe Polo is one of the many activities on offer and is run out of the Clayton campus. Contact us for more information:
